ISO 9001-2015 Certificate

The first general purpose aluminum rolling mill in the United States to receive ISO 9002 registration is now certified to the expanded 9001:2015 standards.

ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognized set of standards for a Quality Management System against which United Aluminum Corporation has been measured and certified.

As a requirement to maintain certification, United Aluminum must successfully undergo rigorous third party audits yearly in addition to our own internal audits to ensure continued compliance with the standard.

Our state-of-the-art aluminum coil facility in North Haven CT has seen many expansions over the years, adding new aluminum rolling capacity and expanding our raw material storage, slitting, and annealing capacities to make sure we can meet your delivery needs. Custom Rolled® Aluminum Coil

United Aluminum's Sendzimir Mills (Z-Mills) are a marvel of technology, innovation, and engineering experience. They produce the most consistent rolled aluminum gauge possible to the most exacting tolerances. United never stops improving our mills, finding ways to make even the best rolled aluminum coils in the industry even better. Our typical Z-Mill finish is brighter than a conventional 4-hi mill without extra cost. The Z-Mill is also capable of matching your mill finish. Ask us about rolled aluminum coil finish options.

Consistent Gauge Control

Here we can see a typical gauge distribution between aluminum coils rolled on a typical 4-hi mill versus the uniform gauge produced from United Aluminum's Sendzimir rolling mill. More consistent gauge end-to-end, coil-to-coil, and order to order means that you need fewer adjustments to run your equipment at high speed, and less setup between aluminum coils and orders.

Custom Slitting

United Aluminum has industry leading slitting, and some of the most talented aluminum coil slitting experts in the business. We can offer very tight width tolerances, specific coil OD ranges, large OD's up to 76”, and a variety of coil ID sizes and fiber or aluminum core types, as well as strippable plastic coating.

Custom Annealing

United Aluminum has annealing capacity designed to let us anneal aluminum coils in slit form for the most demanding forming applications. Our ability to design and control a very specific production process designed to meet your forming needs means you can expect the best results possible from UAC Custom Rolled® Aluminum Coil.

Full Metallurgical Staff

Our in-house full metallurgical Staff is available to assist with your questions and here to consult with for any rolled aluminum coil project you may have. Our fully equipped testing facility allows us to carefully monitor the quality and properties of every order. Our technical team is available for consultation by phone or email, or we are happy to come to you. Let us help with your next aluminum project by providing trials or samples.

We are ready to help you withh trials and small orders, but we are capable of producing truckloads or more with the same quality and reliability we have become known since 1915.
