ALUMINUM ALLOY 7075 GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
What is Aluminum 7075?
Aluminum 7075 is a heat-treatable aluminum alloy with zinc as the primary alloying element. It has moderated formability when in the fully soft, annealed temper and can be heat-treated to strength levels that are comparable to many steel alloys.
TYPICAL CHEMISTRY LIMITS of ALUMINUM 7075:
Composition according to Aluminum Association.
TYPICAL MECHANICAL DATA of ALUMINUM 7075:The following typical aluminum 7075 properties are not guaranteed since in most cases they are average for various sizes and methods of manufacture and may not be exactly representative of any particular product or size. The data is intended for comparing alloys and tempers and should not be used for design purposes.
